I recently uncovered some very old vehicle registration paperwork in a family Bible. I've always been a car nut and was ecstatic to see that I could know what vehicle my great grandfather had bought near the end of his life, as no one in my family knew or remembered.
The paperwork simply (and repeatedly) lists it as a '64 Amer, and googling only pulls that up as AMC but nothing specific. As stated, I do have the VIN, but it's only 7 digits, so obviously no online source is able to comprehend it.
The VIN is as follows: B684647
Please help if you can. Other points of interest state that the thing had 55,997 miles on the dash. Just neat!
I would provide photos, but his handwriting was getting fairly illegible near the end of his life, so only myself and my dad were able to make out his scribbles. Because of this, I had briefly considered if it said "1964 Amen" rather than Amer, but that yielded even less results, and all in my family agree that it's more likely Amer.
Thank you!
