Buckle up boys, this is a long one.
So back in 2023 I was browsing Google satellite view near my house and saw a tan colored rectangle in a cow pasture. I drove back there in my side by side and took a look at it. After doing some looking I found the current owner and asked her about it.
Turns out it was owned by a school teacher who was loved by everyone in my hometown. She had bought it brand new off the lot. Apparently, every Sunday she would pick all of the school kids up in it and take them to church. After she died in the late 70's, the current owner's husband bought it and, with a mere 14,460 original miles, parked it in a barn. Eventually, vandals smashed all of the glass out and the barn ran out space. So it was moved to a field.
A few years back, her husband died to cancer, never restoring it. I asked her if she would be willing to sell it, but she refuted, saying that "She may have it restored someday" which, as we all know, is unlikely, as she had completely forgotten that it was back there. I may asker about it again eventually. But until she does, I'll be watching. I plan on returning shortly to try and talk with her again.
It has a 440 (Idk if it's a TNT or not) and a Torqueflite. It came factory wit A/C, power windows, steering, and brakes. It also come with a vinyl top.
TLDR: Heavily optioned Chrysler New Yorker rotting in field; owner refuses to sell.
