Hi everyone, normally when I enter shows with my cars I don’t care about the awards, so I never pay attention to them. For this show to entice people to pay vehicle entry fee (spectator admission is free) I’ve said there’ll be awards. The issue is, I don’t know how many trophies/catagories to create.
I’ve created the event on Facebook, it’s three hours. I’ve shared it to a couple local groups for generic happenings and a couple car show groups. I have no idea on the projected turnout. It’s a month away. I posted the event yesterday and so far I have 10 going and 60 interested.
The show is for any year, make, and model. I’ve been questioned already and have opened it up to motorcycles. There’ll be local vendors, music, and three awards to be given at the moment. The first is Fire Officer’s Choice (Best in Show), another being Best Modified, and the last being Best Stock. Should I add more categories, change the ones I have, or keep it as I have it? Any input to those seasoned car show attendees would be greatly appreciated!
