Driving a 57 Thunderbird if you’re 5 ft 11 or taller?

I've had my heart set on a 57 Bird, but I've heard many claims that the car is just too small for anybody 5 ft 11 (my height) or more. Does anybody here drive on at those heights semi comfortably?
