We had been driving about 6 miles when I came to a stop light. When the light turned green, I turned right and accelerated up a hill. When I did, the car lost power and acted like it really was struggling. Pedal to the floor, and not really going anywhere for about 1/10 mile (where I could turn off the road).
Normally, this car doesn't know how to go into park (it rolls). This time, we had it in neutral on an incline and it refused to roll. Got it towed home, now it operates as normal.
Any idea what gives? Or where to start? It is a 55 Buick Special.
