Hey guys! I am currently in the process of swapping my intake manifold, headers, and carb on my 1963 Chevy 292 Inline 6. The carb is the Holley 390 4 barrel, and the intake is the Offenhauser 5416. As you can see in the picture, the orientation of the carb seems very strange, but it is the only possible way to mount it…unless there is an adapter that can mount the carb the correct way.
Alright so to the question. Have any of you worked with this combo? I am thinking i will either need to buy a rotated mounting adapter, unless there is not going to be any problem running the throttle linkage?
If anyone has experience with this combo on the 292 or the 250 inline 6, please share your knowledge! Thank you all!
