I saw this truck sitting in a field recently and talked to the owner (see pics for condition). It was a single owner 1952 Ford F-2 with the flathead V8. It’s been parked for over 30 years. I would like to buy it from him in order to restore it.
What is a fair offer for me to make?
The engine isn’t seized, the frame looks to be restorable, otherwise the body is in rough shape. Side steps are gone, interior floorboards mostly gone, significant rust on the wheel wells, but otherwise pretty much complete. Owner does have title.
What is everyone’s thoughts on a reasonable offer to make?
