I started going down the rabbit hole of patina protection and it seems like all of the solutions have their downsides. I just started hitting the really problematic area in the back with quad 0 SOS pads to remove some of the surface rust and I think it's looking pretty good so far honestly. This weekend I think I'm either going to hit it with linseed oil or buff and wax it. I'm not sure what to do though or if there's any better solutions out there. I'm looking for any suggestions.
