I have an ‘82 F150 that did not have AC from the factory (it does have heat). Retrofitting air conditioning from Vintage Air or another system that requires sourcing hard-to-find components would be difficult and very expensive. I’ve considered portable AC units like the Ecoflow Wave 2 (battery-powered, meant for RV’s or camping), but I’m curious if there are any common solutions for a truck cab. I’m assuming that with a portable, battery-powered unit, I’d have to run the exhaust hose out of the sliding back window. Summer’s here are typically in the 90s and humid.
