Hey — new to the group and wanted to share an issue for thoughts/input.
I have had my dad's '54 Bel Air since he passed away in 2005. It has had work done, but is original, not a street rod, etc. I have always been able to crank it up and drive it with no issues until yesterday. I got it out of the garage and it was idling fine until it sputtered and stopped. After that, I could only get it to run for a minute or 2 and then it would just cut off as though it wasn't getting fuel. Patting the accelerator would not keep it alive. I pulled the fuel supply line and when I turned it over, it squirted out gas, so my next guess is carburetor. Anyone with any experience care to chime in? Thanks!!
