Hi all, this is not a post adverting the selling of a vehicle more looking for information or assistance on how to proceed with a vehicle for my fathher. He has a garage kept 1979 Camaro Berlinetta with only 2,943 ORIGINAL miles on it. The car has been started to drive out of the garage, receive oil/fluid changes, wash/wax, then driven back into the garage. It is a 4 speed manual transmission, 305 cubic engine, a/c, and the car still smells new when you open the door. (Honestly it is sickening that it still smells new to me). Everything on the car is ORIGINAL with a special order having the 4 speed is on the floor instead of the center console. It has never seen snow or really anything. He has the original title, sales receipt, and is the only owner. If he was looking to sell this vehicle what is the best way to go about it? Is there someone he should hire to review/appraise the car? Does such a person even exist? Are there any places/people he should avoid. What does a vehicle like this typically sell for? Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Not sure If there is a way to add images but if needed let me know and I will see if I can post them.
Edit: Text and images added.
Thank you!
