I don't want to put ethanol in it I know that much, but here's the deal – high mileage, around about 200K. Has a choke. It runs but it ain't got no gas in it.
I need some idea of what gas to put in it. I've heard higher octane premium is a good choice, but I don't know the first thing about timing. As far as I know it ran on regular. If it is timed for regular and I put premium in it, I don't want to screw something up. I also would prefer that it last longer, i.e. no unnecessary wear and tear on the engine. I'm gonna see about mechanics that can keep up the maintenance until I figure out the difference between a socket wrench and a torque wrench, and then I'll probably buy a piece of junk to practice on from one of the people I've met that has their own car graveyard where they worked the last time he drove'em.
All advice is appreciated. I just want this thing in the best shape I can get it until like 2070. After that I'll be probably be dead.
